‘Paperless Invoices’: new service allows you to receive invoices by e-mail
From now on you can receive invoices with tax number by e-mail through ‘Paperless Invoices’ on the ePortugal portal. Anyone can join and get digital invoices for purchases in commercial establishments (supermarkets, pharmacies, cafes and restaurants, among others) that use adherent billing systems.
To join, you must register or authenticate yourself on the ePortugal portal with a Digital Mobile Key (CMD) or Citizen Card.
The goal is to reduce paper consumption, reduce associated costs, facilitate the organization of documents and increase the speed of receipt of invoices.
'Paperless Invoices' is a Simplex measure, supported by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), and developed by the Administrative Modernization Agency (AMA).
