ePortugal: your public services portal turns 4 years old today

Launched on February 14th, 2019, the ePortugal portal provides information on almost 2,500 public services for people and companies, in simple and accessible language. In four years, it already has 70 million visits, more than 3 million services made through the portal and 475 thousand registered users.

At the end of 2022 it became even easier to find the services you need, with the portal's new image and a new organization of information.

In ePortugal you can perform various services online, using the Digital Mobile Key (CMD), Citizen Card and other tools. By the end of 2022, 7.5 million authentications were made in citizen services and 5.8 million in business services.

Of these services, 700 thousand online renewals of the Citizen Card and 1.5 million requests for address changes stand out.

The portal also provides information on the service desks throughout the country and how to schedule online a service in person at the Citizen Shops and Citizen Spots.

In ePortugal you can request support by video call to perform some services online, create your Digital Single Address to receive electronic notifications from participating entities and subscribe to the Paperless Invoices service to receive your invoices by e-mail.
