IRN provides a channel for complaints

The Instituto de Registos e do Notariado (IRN) has now a channel for complaints where any person or entity may report situations of corruption, abuse of power, moral harassment, improper service in the IRN services, among others.

Reports can be anonymous and can be made online, using a form, or in person. 

If you prefer to go to an IRN branch, you must make an appointment via e-mail uaci@irn.mj.pt or by mail, in an envelope with the indication of confidentiality to the address:
