The Portal do Financiamento was created to simplify and improve access and use of the various financing solutions with public support. It is a platform where you can find, grouped in a single location, information directed in particular to SMEs, in the different phases of their activity and investment.

Portal do Financiamento provides information on a wide range of solutions, such as Mutual Guarantee, Credit Insurance, Venture Capital, Business Angels, CoInvestment Funds, Real Estate Investment Funds, also covering tax incentives for investment and the capitalisation of companies. Consult the platform below and find the best solution for your business.

The information is structured according to the needs of the companies, their investment strategies (growth, expansion, export, capitalisation, etc.), the business dimension or the sector of activity. The purpose is to present solutions, considering the profile of the investor and the characteristics of the business, as well as to identify the agents responsible for its operationalisation.

This initiative, coordinated by Agência para a Competitividade e Inovação - IAPMEI (Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation) and developed with the support of Portugal 2020, under the Sistema de Apoio à Modernização e Capacitação da Administração Pública (SAMA) (Support System for the Modernisation and Training of Public Administration), had the collaboration of Conselho de Coordenação das Instituições Financeiras (CCIF) (Coordination Council for Financial Institutions) which brings together the seven bodies of the Ministry of Economy that support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs, up to 250 employees) and middle-capitalisation companies (up to 3000 employees). It also counted with the participation of entrepreneurs who, through a public consultation, had the possibility to contribute to the construction of a product adjusted to the users' needs.

This portal provides access to notices of applications under Portugal 2020 and other EU funding opportunities, including information on business reception and technology infrastructures in Portugal, as well as national and international competitiveness support networks.

The project is a joint initiative of the Câmara de Comércio e Indústria Portuguesa (Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and the Agência para o Desenvolvimento e Coesão (Agency for Development and Cohesion).
