On 2 September, the third Citizen’s Shop in the city of Lisbon opened to the public, located at Mercado 31 de janeiro, in Saldanha.

To optimise customer service, the store operates with early distribution of tickets and a team of mediators from the City Council of Lisbon that helps direct citizens to the services they want.

The Citizen’s Shop of Saldanha comprises desks of the Tax Authority, Social Security Institute, Registry and Notary Institute, Citizen Spot, Lisbon Initiative, Gebalis, Carris and EMEL, bringing together services such as the request or renewal of Citizen Card and passport, revalidation/alteration of driving licence, obtaining a criminal record, delivery of expense documents to ADSE or the request of Lisboa VIVA card.

The services of Regional Directorate of Mobility and Transport of Lisbon and Tagus Valley, previously located at Avenida Elias Garcia, were transferred to the new Citizen’s Shop of Lisbon, closing at the previous location.

The project for adaptation of the building was under responsibility, regarding the project and undertaking, of the Administrative Modernization Agency (AMA) and the Municipality of Lisbon.

The Citizen’s Shop of Saldanha is located on the first floor of 31 de Janeiro Municipal Market, Rua Engenheiro Vieira da Silva, and operates on extended hours, from Monday to Friday from 9 A.M. to 7 P.M..
