Online applications are now available for the three support lines for entities and cultural workers

The three support lines for professionals and cultural entities foreseen in the Economic and Social Stabilisation Programme are already available. 
 
These are the 3 million euros support lines for professional artistic entities to adapt cultural spaces and facilities to the measures arising from COVID-19, worth a total of 750 thousand euros, and additional social support for cultural professionals, worth 34.3 million euros.
 
The support line for professional artistic entities supports the resumption and maintenance of artistic entities' activities and their regular operation, taking into account the losses resulting from the total or partial suspension of activity in the context of the pandemic. Entities that have been considered eligible and not supported under the Directorate-General for the Arts' 2020-2021 sustained support programme, in any of the artistic areas put out to tender, as well as entities benefiting from the Directorate-General for the Arts' sustained support programme (four-year and biennial), may apply for this support. 
 
The support line for the adaptation of spaces to the measures stemming from COVID-19 supports the adaptation of cultural spaces and facilities to the rules and recommendations of the competent authorities in the context of the pandemic. Eligible legal persons under private law who are based in Portugal and who carry out activities of a non-profit nature and who own and/or are responsible for the management of cultural spaces and equipment, such as theatres, cinetheatres and cultural auditoriums. 
 
The additional social support line for cultural professionals is for complementary support granted by Social Security to independent workers in the area of Culture, covering various activities, namely artists, authors, technicians. 
 
Applications can be made until September 4th. 
 
The Economic and Social Stabilisation Programme contains a set of exceptional measures for the Culture sector, also enshrined in the Supplementary Budget for 2020.
