Employers can request new financial support for normalization of business activity

As of today, August 4th, employers who have benefited from the simplified lay-off scheme and who are able to resume their activity can apply for the extraordinary incentive to standardize their business activity. The application for this support is available on the iefponline portal, in the employer's management area. 

There are two types of support for this incentive, with employers choosing only one of them:

  • support in the amount of one national minimum wage per worker covered by the simplified lay-off, paid in one lump sum
  • support of twice the national minimum wage per worker covered by the simplified lay-off, paid in stages over six months.

Each employer can only submit one application for one form of support. To make the application, the employer must be registered on the iefponline portal. If you are not registered, you can do so by following the steps indicated in the support guide for accreditation on the portal.
