Justice statistics with improved presentation

29.01.2021

The Justice Statistics Information System has been improved.  The platform now displays data on crimes or corruption, among other topics, through graphs, which allows a more intuitive and immediate reading. Additionally, the data is now available grouped by theme.

It is also available the access to data sets of Justice statistics through the Application Programming Interface (API). The new functionality aims to promote access and (re)use of statistical data, which can now be read by automated mechanisms and more easily integrated into other platforms or projects.

The Justice Statistics Information System covers several areas, including courts, registries and notary, police and investigation support bodies, alternative dispute resolution and reinsertion bodies, and enforcement of sentences and measures.
