Form for progressive resumption support measure available online

Companies that want to ask for the extraordinary support for the progressive resumption of activity can already do so through Segurança Social Direta (Direct Social Security). This support is aimed at companies with a 40% or more drop in turnover due to the new coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), which are seeking to resume activity and maintain jobs.

The support in question is defined by the following parameters:

• In the case of an employer with a 40% or more drop in turnover, the reduction in the normal working period per worker may be a maximum of 50% in August and September 2020 and 40% in October, November and December 2020.
• In the case of an employer with a turnover drop of 60% or more, the reduction in the normal working period per worker may be a maximum of 70% in August and September 2020 and 60% in October, November and December 2020.
