Laranjeiras Citizen Shop: new phase of construction to start on March 27th


From today, March 27th, a new phase of energy improvement works will start in the Laranjeiras Citizen Shop, but the Shop will continue to operate. Some desks may be moved to different areas than usual. These changes are identified at the entrance of the Shop.

During this phase, services related to the Citizen Card, Passport and Single Automobile Document (DUA) will have fewer desks available.

However, the service will be reinforced in the:

Over almost 24 years, the Laranjeiras Citizen Shop has received more than 33 million visits. The remodeling, which includes improvements in climate control, indoor air quality and lighting, will create a more comfortable, modern and efficient space.

This intervention is part of the Energy Efficiency Program in Public Administration, with the goal of achieving a 30% efficiency increase in Public Administration bodies and services. This program is under the National Program for Climate Change, which aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
