New measure announced for the “Comércio Digital” programme

The Digital Commerce Programme, created with the aim of promoting digital transformation of Portuguese companies affected by the new coronavirus, presented new measures to help relaunch the national economy.

The new initiatives announced include:

  • the launch of the comercialodigital.pt website
  • the launch of Academia do Comércio Digital (Digital Commerce Academy) - an online platform that provides training content 
  • the special campaign for joining the Confio.pt Seal - a certificate awarded to websites that comply with digital market best practices
  • 3 in 1 Voucher - vouchers aimed at Portuguese micro enterprises and SMEs in the areas of commerce and services, for registration of a free .pt domain for one year, access to email boxes and website building and hosting tools
  • weekly webinars
  • a free helpline (800 100 236)

The second phase of this programme aims to reinforce the importance of e-commerce in the Portuguese economy, highlighting local commerce and finding solutions to the decline in business activity.

Digital Commerce, which brings together ACEPI - Associação da Economia Digital (Digital Economy Association) and CCP - Confederação do Comércio e dos Serviços de Portugal (Portuguese Confederation for Commerce and Services), is co-financed by the Operational Programme COMPETE 2020.
