New online system for agricultural and industrial product licensing

19.11.2020

The AT - Tax and Customs Authority portal has launched a new electronic external licensing system (e-SLE) for agricultural, industrial and strategic products, which allows to request and obtain licenses and certificates through the digital channel. Applicants for licenses and certificates can also follow the life cycle of the documents submitted and respond to new requests through the same channel.

As of today, 19 November 2020, the following applications for certificates and licences must be submitted through the e-SLE:

  • Application for agricultural tariff rates managed with import licences;
  • Import and Export Certificates for agricultural products;
  • Import and Export Authorisation for Drug Precursors;
  • Activity Licence;
  • Operator Registration
  • Export License for Dual-Use Goods;
  • Certificates of Final Use
  • Authorization for Import and Export of Torture Items.
  • Documents issued electronically are valid in any national Customs office.

If certificates or licences are used in another Member State where physical issue of the documents is required, a request for official printing in the system can be made (signed, stamped and mailed).
