New service spaces in Lisbon to renew the Citizen Card

From 20 May, it shall be possible to renew the Citizen Card at some Citizen Spots of the metropolitan area of Lisbon (consult the map below).

The citizens who are 25 years old or older and whose data are registered in the system may renew the Citizen Card in a simpler and easier way, with a service intended to last for only five minutes.

This service will be available at 28 Citizen Spots and, from 27 May, at 15 additional Spots. By the end of June, it shall be available at all Citizen Spots of the metropolitan area of Lisbon.

From the second week of May, the citizens who are 60 years old or older and who meet the conditions to carry out the Citizen Card’s renewal online will be contacted to schedule the day and time in which to travel to a Citizen Spot to renew the Card.
