Public Administration Interoperability Platform with new website and services

02.07.2020

The new Public Administration Interoperability website is now online.  The platform launched in 2007 is the preferred means for the exchange of information between Public Administration (PA) services and bodies, and is managed by AMA - Agency for Administrative Modernisation.

Among the various services accessible on the iAP platform, the exchange of messages between systems, communication of SMS messages with citizens, and payment facilitation stand out. In total, more than 1.7 billion data messages were exchanged, 190 million SMS sent and more than 1 billion payments supported.

The Document Interoperability service is one of the novelties of the new website, allowing the various document management systems of the Public Administration and Government entities to be connected. This service allows the total dematerialisation of document exchange, further increasing the economic and environmental benefits.

At the moment, 123 public and private entities are linked to iAP to provide various services, such as the online and automatic renewal of the Citizen Card, electronic medical prescription for Health, electoral registry with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, among others.
