Portugal Inovação Social launches Interactive Map with social projects

You can now consult the projects supported and the social investment made in Portugal through a new interactive map launched by the Portugal Inovação Social initiative.

In this new interactive platform you can find out the projects approved in each Region, the Financing Instruments used and the respective Areas of Intervention.

The "Chave de Afetos" Programme is one of the actions highlighted, an integrated solution that combines the technological and human components by continuously monitoring elderly people, reducing the number of cases of social isolation in the Metropolitan Area of Porto.

This programme, created in 2011, not only promotes social inclusion and affective relationships, fostering a sense of security in the permanence of elderly people in their homes, with the support of volunteers and teleassistance, but also avoids involuntary institutionalisation and associated costs.

Find out about more projects supported by the Interactive Map of Social Innovation, the platform made available by the public initiative Portugal Inovação Social, which aims to promote social innovation and boost the social investment market in Portugal.
