On the day of the first anniversary of ePortugal, the Company Spot is named Companies and Businesses. The name change reflects the wider scope of this area of the portal, which now provides the Guide sections for your business and Invest in Portugal.

In Guide for your business you will find practical information on how to start, manage and close a business. The Invest in Portugal area is designed to attract investment to Portugal and provides varied information on financing, business location, entrepreneurship and innovation, among others.

One year of ePortugal.gov.pt

14 February 2019 brought changes to online public services. The Portal do Cidadão (Citizen's Portal) has given way to ePortugal, with the objective of meeting the needs of citizens through a clearer and simplified user experience, in a more technologically evolved portal.

During the first year, more than 10 million sessions were added to the portal, more than 20 million page views and more than 125 thousand registered users.

In addition to the new identity, the portal has brought more features such as online password request via email or SMS, the virtual assistant, SIGMA, and a reserved area where it is possible to consult information from different public entities.

The date will also be celebrated at the Citizen Shop of Marvila, in an action to promote the Agência para a Modernização Administrativa, IP, where citizens can learn more about the portal and the services that can be done online, such as changing the address of the Citizen Card, enabling of the digital mobile key, renewal of the Citizen Card, among others.
