Cultural professionals can request financial support online

The application form for additional social support for artists, authors, technicians and other cultural professionals is already online. It is a support granted by the Social Security to self-employed workers in the area of Culture, which covers various activities. These requests can be made between August 3rd and September 4th. 

This initiative is part of the exceptional measures for the cultural sector in the Economic and Social Stabilisation Programme (PEES) of the Supplementary Budget for 2020. These measures represent a reinforcement of 70 million euros for artists and entities in the area of culture, highlighting this additional social support line for artists, authors, technicians and other cultural professionals, with a total of 34.3 million euros available.
