The deadline for applications towards cultural support from the Economic and Social Stabilisation Program has been extended

The deadline for registration of the three support lines created for the culture sector, under the PEES - Economic and Social Stabilisation Programme, is on 13 September.

The support lines covered by this postponement are:

• 3 million euros support line for professional cultural artists;
• support line for adapting areas to the respective measures arising from the pandemic situation, worth 750 thousand euros;
• 34.3 million euros additional social support line for cultural professionals.

The objective of this extraordinary measure is that this financial instrument may reach a greater number of companies, entities and professionals in cultural activities, trying to mitigate the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in this sector.
