Find out if you can receive the Citizen's Card at home

Those who have recently renewed their Citizen Card and want to know if they will receive it by post, can now search online at the Justice portal if they are covered by the home delivery service. Simply put the card number in the field indicated on the page and search.

The delivery of the Citizen Card at home address by registered mail is an exceptional and temporary measure available for all requests to renew the Citizen Card, made by SMS, online or in person (registration services - Registry Offices, Citizen Shops or Citizen Spots), avoiding going to a reception desk to pick up the card.

It covers citizens aged 18 or over, living in national territory, who have renewed the Citizen Card, to which they have an associated mobile phone or email contact, being also necessary that they are not subject to the regime of the major accompanied.

Since it came into operation on 25 September, the Citizen Card home delivery service has already covered more than 100 thousand citizens from all over the country.
