Change the address on the Citizen card

If you have changed your habitual residence, you must change the address on your Citizen's Card. This change must be made within a maximum of 60 days and can be done online or over the counter.

When you change the address on your Citizen's Card, you automatically change it at the Registry Office, the Tax Office, the Social Security Office, the National Health Service and the Electoral Registration Office. You can also communicate the change to various public or private organisations of your choice.

The change of address is only finalised when you receive the letter in the post that allows you to confirm the change of address on your Citizen's Card.
