You can consult the statistics on the GEE website via the following links:

  • Framework Indicators - Weekly publication with the evolution of the main indicators of monthly, quarterly and annual periodicity of economic activity in Portugal.
  • Thematic Framework Statistics - It presents the recent and updated evolution (monthly, quarterly or annual periodicity) of the main indicators under the following themes: Employment, Credit to the private sector, Current and capital accounts, International trade in goods, Quarterly national financial accounts by institutional sector and Quarterly national economic accounts.
  • International Trade Statistics - Monthly publication with the main indicators of International Trade.
  • Bilateral Trade Statistics - Annual bilingual publication with the main indicators of Portugal's International Trade vis-à-vis the main countries of destination/origin of national exports/imports, disaggregated by broad economic categories, combined nomenclature, groups and subgroups of products, and mode of transport. Information for an annual total of 180 countries.
  • Regional Statistics - Annual bilingual publication with the main economic and social indicators of Portugal, aggregated by NUTSII, NUTSIII, districts and municipalities.
  • Sectorial Statistics - Bilingual annual publication with the main indicators of the structure and variation of the Portuguese business sector for the last 5 years, by sector of economic activity (CAE Rev. 3), legal form or geographical breakdown (NUTS II), and their framework in the national economic context.
  • Statistics on Foreign Residents in Portugal - Annual bilingual publication with the flows of immigrants residing in Portugal, disaggregated by country of nationality, according to the Immigration Statistics of the Immigration and Borders Service, additionally available by sex, age group and district of residence.
  • Transport and Communications Statistics - It presents the main indicators of national and international freight and passenger transport by air, road, sea and rail modes.
  • Infrastructure Database - Infrastructure Investment Database which aims to provide systematised information on investment made in various types of infrastructure, namely: road, rail, port and airport transport, social health and education infrastructure, water supply and treatment, electricity and gas, oil product refining and telecommunications.
