Social Security contributions – Applying for a reduction for hiring workers with disabilities
Employers entering into an open-ended employment contract with workers with disabilities may apply for a reduction in the social security contribution rate.
The reduction concerns the contributions corresponding to the employer.
With the reduction applied, the employer’s contribution rate is 11.9% of the disabled worker’s remuneration.
Workers with disabilities
For the purposes of the reduction in the contribution rate, a worker with a disability is a person whose work capacity is less than 80% of the normal capacity required of a worker without a disability in the same job.

If the application is submitted more than 10 days after the start date of the employment contract, the reduction will take effect from the beginning of the month following the month in which the application was submitted.
