On site:

• Portuguese consular posts
• Embassy / Consulate that holds the jurisdiction of that country, in case there is no Portuguese consular post.

• Application in the appropriate form

• Passport or other valid travel document

• Duas fotografias iguais, tipo passe, atualizadas e em boas condições de identificação do requerente

• Transport ticket ensuring their return

• Valid travel insurance to cover necessary expenses for medical reasons, including urgent medical assistance and possible repatriation

• Application for consultation of the Portuguese criminal record by the Foreigners and Borders Service (SEF)

• Criminal record certificate from the country of origin or from the country where the applicant has resided for more than one year

• Proof of housing conditions

• Proof of subsistence means

• For independent professional activity:

  • Company contract or proposal or contract for the provision of services within the liberal professions
  • When applicable, declaration issued by the entity competent for verifying the requisites for exercising the profession which, in Portugal, is subject to qualifications.

• For entrepreneurial immigrants:

  • Declaration that you have carried out or intend to carry out an investment operation in Portugal, indicating its nature, value and duration
  • Proof of having financial means available in Portugal, including those obtained from a financial institution in Portugal, and of the intention of making an investment intention in Portuguese territory duly described and identified.

It costs 90,00 €.

It has a deadline of 60 days.
