What are the documents and requirements to renew the ADSE beneficiary card for students between 18 and 26 years old?

    • Original or photocopy of the enrolment certificate, student card or other document used by the educational establishment that the descendant attends, confirming his/her student status and containing the full name of the student, the level of education and the school year (unless the descendant has not obtained a place in higher education).
    • Statement issued by the District Social Security Centre of the area of residence confirming the situation of the descendant before Social Security.

How renew the ADSE beneficiary card for students between 18 and 26 years old?

For children of active beneficiaries

You must request the card’s renewal with your employer.

For children of retired or deceased beneficiaries

You must request the card’s renewal online:

  1. Access the ADSE’s Online Service.
  2. Login with the beneficiary holder’s ADSE number and password (or login through Portal das Finanças [Finances Portal]).
  3. Choose the option “Registry/maintenance of rights of student descendants”.
