New Social Security service locations in Lisbon

The Social Security Institute inaugurated a new registered office that opened to the public on 28 March. Located at Avenida 5 de Outubro, in Lisbon, it concentrates all services of the District Centre of Lisbon, the Central Services and the National Pensions Centre, which were spread over 13 buildings.
The service desks of these Services will also be gathered in this building, ensuring a greater centrality in the provision of Social Security public services in Lisbon.

The service is by appointment only. However, two rapid information points (non-procedural information) will be made available, a kiosk that allows citizens to access the Direct Social Security and the Social Security Line, as well as the delivery of deferred service envelopes. 
 
To schedule the service in advance for the most convenient day and time, you should call 300 502 502, on working days, from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M. . You can also schedule the service through the Social Security portal at www.seg-social.pt. 
 
The headquarters service of the Lisbon District Centre (Areeiro), the service of the National Pension Centre (Entrecampos), the Disability Verification Service and the service of Department of Protection against Occupational Risks (Av. Estados Unidos da América) will be concentrated in the new building, which, with the opening of the new service, have closed definitively in the places where they were located.
