Applications open for the Regenerate Tourism Business Support Line

Micro, small and medium-sized businesses in the tourism sector that were affected by the fires in August 2023 and that belong to the municipalities of Odemira, Aljezur, Monchique, Proença-a-Nova and Castelo Branco can now apply for the Regenerating Tourism Businesses - Fires 2023 Support Line. 

See Governance Order no. 341/2023, of November 9, to find out the CAE of the companies in the tourism sector that can benefit from this support.

To apply, you must fill in the form available on the Turismo de Portugal website. The application deadline is when the available budget of 3 million euros has been used up.

When filling in the form, beneficiary entities can select a single type of operation or both types, depending on their needs. 

The repayment period is 7 years, including a grace period of 18 months. The financing is repaid every 3 months in equal installments.

The financing rate for projects is 90%, applicable to eligible investment with a limit of 400,000 euros. This support is a mixture of a non-refundable grant with a maximum value of 200,000 euros and a loan with no associated interest.
