As of November 20, it is now possible to apply for the second phase of the Vale Eficiência program. By 2025, this program aims to deliver 100,000 vouchers to families with financial difficulties who live in energy-poor buildings.
This program aims to improve the thermal comfort of the homes of people in the most vulnerable economic situation. The vouchers can finance, for example, the replacement of windows or the installation of heating systems.
Applications can be made by the holder of an electricity contract, beneficiary of the social energy tariff, owner, usufructuary or tenant and who permanently resides in the home that is the subject of the Efficiency Voucher application.
Applications must be submitted on the Environmental Fund's website.
