Family income support paid starting October 20

27.09.2022

The extraordinary support of 125 euros per adult and 50 euros per child and youngster, to compensate for the increase in prices, will begin to be paid as of October 20th. Bank transfers will be made by the Finance Department and Social Security.

The "Families First" program assigns 125 euros to residents:

  • with income up to 2,700 euros gross per month (37,800 euros annually)
  • who benefit from social benefits, such as unemployment benefit, sickness benefit, social integration income and family allowance, among others
  • scholarship holders who pay voluntary social insurance.

Those receiving the exceptional pensioners' supplement of less than 125 euros will receive the difference.

The 50 euros are attributed for each child or young person up to the age of 24 (inclusive), or without age limit in the case of dependents due to disability.

IBAN can be updated during the next 6 months at the Finance Department

If the payment cannot be made by the Tax Authority (AT) due to lack of information or invalid IBAN, a new bank transfer attempt will be repeated every month for 6 months. Therefore, you can update your IBAN on the Finance Portal during the next 6 months.

As for transfers made by Social Security, if there is a lack of information or the IBAN is invalid, payment will be made by postal order.
