School enrolment for the 2024/2025 school year begins on 15 April

The school enrolment calendar for the 2024/2025 school year has been released by the Ministry of Education. The first phase begins on 15 April, with enrolment for pre-school education and the 1st year of basic education. 
The dates for school enrolment for the 2024/2025 school year are as follows:

• pre-school and 1st year of basic education: 15 April until 15 May  
• 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th years of primary school: 6th July to 12th July
• 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 11th grades: 22nd June until 2nd July
• 10th and 12th grades: 15 July to 20 July.

Automatic renewal applies to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 9th and 11th years of schooling when:

• there is no school transfer 
• there is no change of guardian 
• there is no change of course 
• there is no need to choose subjects.
