Applications to the measures Incentive ACTIVAR.PT and Internships ACTIVAR.PT

The dates for applications for the ATIVAR.PT Incentives and ATIVAR.PT Internships measures in 2021 are already available. The calendar foresees two regular application periods, from 15 February to 30 June and from 15 August to 30 December.

The ATIVAR.PT Incentive is a financial support to employers who enter into open ended or fixed term work contracts with unemployed people registered in the Instituto de Emprego e Formação Profissional [Institute for the Employment and Vocational Training] (IEFP). These contracts must have a minimum duration of 12 months and provide mandatory vocational training to the contracted workers.

The ATIVAR.PT Internships measure consists in supporting the insertion of young people in the labour market or the professional reconversion of unemployed people, through a practical experience in a work context.

Applications are made by the employer on the iefp online portal.
