COVID-19: People 55 and older can now schedule vaccinations

13.05.2021

From this Thursday, 13 May, people aged 55 years and above can now schedule for vaccination against COVID-19. The self-scheduling for the most convenient date and place can be done on the portal of the Directorate General of Health (DGS).

After the measure was extended to people aged 60 and above last weekend (8 and 9 May), the high rate of vaccination recorded in recent days made it possible to move on to the next age group.

On the DGS portal, as soon as you choose the vaccination site, you will be presented with the first available date, which you can accept or choose another that is more convenient for you.

If there are no vacancies available, you can choose to be on the waiting list at that vaccination point or choose a date at another vaccination point.

Afterwards, you will receive an SMS indicating the time of the vaccination, on the day and at the chosen vaccination point.

As an alternative, you can register in person at one of the more than 750 Citizen Spots throughout the country. The Citizen Spots bring together services from different entities in a single counter, installed in Citizens Shops and in local government service points.
