E-Clic: the new digital Social Security desk

13.11.2023

e-Clic is Social Security's new digital counter where you can ask questions, request information and make complaints to Social Security.

The new counter aims to facilitate the relationship between citizens and Social Security and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The digital counter can be accessed from a computer, tablet or smartphone. To use e-Clic, you just need to have access to Segurança Social Direta (SSD).

In e-Clic, users can consult information on Social Security matters and send electronic communications via a form. Once the request has been registered, the user is given a reference, which allows them to monitor the status of the request and the interactions made.

E-Clic is also accessible from the Social Security portal, via the icon on the right-hand side of the page.

The new digital counter is the result of Social Security's digital transition program, an investment of 200 million euros from the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) and also aims to eliminate bureaucracy and increase the effectiveness of protection.
