Extended hours in 176 health centers across the country

There are 176 health centers, from north to south of the country, with extended opening hours during the week or on weekends. The aim of this measure, which will be in force during the fall and winter months, is to reduce the demand for emergency services in non-emergency situations.

The schedules can be consulted on the National Health Service (NHS) portal. Just select the tab "Priority Measures", click on the option "Measures for the Citizen/Community" and choose the region you want to consult. Schedules will be updated regularly.

It is advised, however, that you first call SNS 24 (808 24 24 24), so that the appropriate triage and routing of your situation can be done.

"Via Verde ACeS"

The "Via Verde ACeS" is also underway in emergency services, which allows people triaged as non-urgent (white, blue or green wristband) in hospitals to be referred to health centers. The citizens will be seen within 24 hours, at a previously defined time.

In these cases, citizens are exempt from paying the user fees.
