It is now possible to report the termination of activity of domestic service workers on SSD

25.03.2024

The new functionality for registering the termination of activity of a domestic service worker is now available on Social Security Direct (SSD), and it is no longer necessary to deliver this communication over the counter or by post. The measure is part of "Clic" - Social Security's Digital Transition Program under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).

Employers must notify Social Security of the suspension or termination of the activity of workers in their service by the 10th of the month following the month in which the employment relationship ended.

To register the termination of employment, follow these steps:

  • access Social Security Direct
  • select the "Employment > Domestic Service" menu
  • choose "Consult Worker's Link > Terminate Link"

For more information on Domestic Service Workers, see the Social Security Practical Guide.
