Layoff simplificado e Apoio Extraordinário à Retoma Progressiva disponíveis online

It is already possible to request access to the simplified layoff or the Extraordinary Support for Progressive Resumption through the Segurança Social Direta (Social Security Direct) portal. The forms for these measures to support the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic are now available on the Internet.

The simplified layoff, as an extraordinary measure to support the maintenance of employment contracts, is intended exclusively for the payment of the wages of the workers concerned, who receive their 100% remuneration. The support will be available during the period of the state of emergency.

The Extraordinary Support for Progressive Resumption is intended for companies that have recorded a fall in turnover of 25% or more. In this case, the workers also receive their 100% remuneration. 

Employers who had already requested Extraordinary Support for Progressive Resumption but now want to join the simplified layoff should register their withdrawal from the support.
