New portal of the National Sports Information System
The National Sports Information System (SNID) has a new portal, which provides information on sports facilities, entities and sports.
The portal is aimed at the general public, athletes, sports entities and researchers. Presenting itself as a tool of public interest and for the promotion of physical activity and sport, it is an improved version of the existing one, more intuitive, faster and easier to use.
In the new SNID portal it is possible to search sports facilities by sport and by geographical area.
In the case of sports entities, it is now possible to:
- register sports facilities by geographical coordinates
- validate the search by zip code
- add the address of the sports facility to Google Maps.
SNID is also a tool to promote scientific knowledge, as it has a feature that allows researchers to access information that allows studies on sports facilities in our country.
The new portal makes the registration and consultation of entities with Sports Sponsorship and the National Registry Clubs and Sports Federations easier and more accessible.
