Social and Econimic Stabilisation Program

The Economic and Social Stabilisation Programme (PEES) was approved by the Council of Ministers and published in the Official Gazette.

The document presents a set of measures, covering areas such as higher education, health, culture or tourism, aimed at responding to the crisis generated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Programme shall be in force for this year and is based on four axes:

• maintaining employment and the gradual recovery of economic activity
• social issues and income support for people, especially those who have been most affected by the economic consequences of the pandemic
• support to the companies 
• institutional matrix.
