Program distinguishes the most accessible festivals for people with reduced mobility

27.09.2022

The Accessible Festivals Program was created to distinguish festivals that have accessibility conditions for people with physical or sensory disabilities, pregnant women, children, and the elderly. There is also an annual award for the most accessible festival.

The initiative is aimed at street arts, performing arts, plastic arts, film, dance, literature, music and theater festivals.

To apply, simply fill out the form and send it to info.allforall@turismodeportugal.pt, along with the required documents. Applications must be made 3 months before the beginning of the event.

For more information, see the program regulations and the application support manual.

This measure, created in partnership between the Tourism of Portugal and the National Institute for Rehabilitation (INR), fits in the National Strategy for the Inclusion of People with Disabilities and the "All for All - Portuguese Tourism" program, which promotes the increase of accessible tourism offer in Portugal.
