Vouchers for free school books available from August 2

Vouchers for free textbooks will begin to be issued from August 2 for 1st cycle, 8th grade and 11th grade students. Vouchers for grades 5, 6, 7, 9, 10 and 12 and other educational offers will be available from 9 August.

Vouchers for the 2022/2023 school year will be issued gradually as classes are created and duly loaded by schools.

To benefit from the free textbooks, parents must register on the MEGA platform or the Edu Rede Escolar app (available for Android and iOS). They should check the platform regularly to check the availability of vouchers, and may also receive notification via email.

On the MEGA portal is available the list of adhering bookshops, where you can collect the vouchers.

Bookshops that want to be part of MEGA - Free Textbooks programme must also register on the platform.
