Who can Request data for payment and issuance of beaconing and buoyage charge?

  • Owners, shipowners, charterers and masters of vessels.

What are the documents and requirements to Request data for payment and issuance of beaconing and buoyage charge?

  • To carry out the service you will need:

    • the registry of the vessel
    • the Tax Identification Number (NIF) of the person or company where the vessel is registered
    • the access data to the Portal das Finanças (Finances Portal) or Mobile Digital Key (CMD) or Citizen Card, smartcard reader and authentication PIN.

How can you Request data for payment and issuance of beaconing and buoyage charge?

You can perform the service face-to-face or online.

Face-to-face
At the Online Captaincy Automatic Terminals (TACO), available for use from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the maritime offices buildings.

Online
To carry out the service you must follow the following steps:

  1. Access to Capitania Online+ (Online Captaincy)
  2. Authenticate with one of the following options:
  3. select the type of service - beaconing and buoying charge
  4. the applicant receives the data for payment in his/her email (according to the registry data on the Capitania Online+ platform)
  5. the Maritime Office (RM) issues the invoice with the payment data to the user
  6. After paying, the applicant receives confirmation by email that the payment has been made successfully.

What is the Price to Request data for payment and issuance of beaconing and buoyage charge?

The service costs between 8 euros and 70 euros, depending on the area of navigation and activity performed, and is valid for 365 days, according to the date of the first registry of the vessel.

You can consult the costs in Administrative Decree no. 506/2018, of 2 de October (fees for acts and services provided by the bodies and services of the National Maritime Authority).

After performing the service, the payment reference is available within 48 hours.
