Opening of the Leiria Citizen Shop

The Citizen Shop in Leiria opened to the public on December 16th.

Located at Largo das Forças Armadas, it includes services from the Tax and Customs Authority (Finances), the Institute of Registries and Notaries (IRN), Leiria's Municipal Water and Sanitation Services, Social Security (by appointment only) and a Citizen Spot.

The Citizen Spot offers services from different entities, both public and private, such as activation of the Chave Digital Móvel (Digital Mobile Key), revalidation of driving license,  requesting  a criminal record certificate, schedule a Health Centre appointment, among others.

The new Citizen Shop is open on weekdays from 9am to 5pm, with the exception of the Social Security and IRN counters, which close at 4pm and AT at 4:30 pm. Through the Citizen Map, you can request a queue ticket number.

Portugal now has 57 Citizen Shops spread across the country.
