Opening of the Professional Qualifications Assistance Centre

The Assistance Center for Professional Qualifications starts operating today, 22 June, providing information to citizens, companies and the community on the recognition of professional qualifications.

The centre is provided by the Directorate General for Employment and Labour Relations (DGERT).

This centre will provide information on schemes for access to and exercise of regulated professions, including labour, social security and ethical matters.

The Assistance Centre Professional Qualifications is part of the network of contact points of the European Union, which supports citizens, businesses and the community in providing information on the recognition of professional qualifications in each Member State. It will soon be available on the Your Europe portal, replacing the previous national contact point, provided by the IEFP.
