ACM releases leaflet on changes to the Foreigners Act

The High Commission for Migrations (ACM) has released the informational leaflet "Foreigners' Act: what has changed?" about the main changes to the legislation. The measures that regulate the entry, stay and exit of foreigners from Portugal come into force on October 30th.

In the leaflet you will find information about:

• Visas for people from the Member States of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP)
• Visas to seek work
• Visas for digital nomads/remote workers
• Visas to accompany Family Members
• Visas for children and young people
• Useful contacts.

The procedures for applying for residence visas will be simpler and the validity of the documents will be extended.
