European Comission launches EU-Ukraine Business Matchmaking Platform

The European Commission has launched the EU-Ukraine Business Matchmaking platform to facilitate export and import transactions of goods between the European Union and Ukraine, given the conflict situation in the country.
The platform aims to:
- Identify new logistics chains to export and import the products and materials from Ukraine
- To find new logistics and transport partners
- Share solutions related to the supply network
- Adapting infrastructure.
The initiative covers the following sectors:
- Logistics - sales, transport and storage
- Agricultural products - wheat, corn, barley, sunflower, sugar beet, pulses, fruit and vegetables, among others
- Food products - vegetable oil, meat, dairy products, sugar, flour, beverages, bakery and confectionary, among others
- Raw materials - parts for agricultural technologies, metal, wood, mineral fertilisers, petrol and diesel, among others.
