New way to open an activity in Finances is available

The Portal das Finanças (Finance Portal) offers a new way to declare the simplified start of activity for single taxpayers without organised accounting.

The taxpayer answers questions about their situation to complete the declaration. The interactive form also allows the search of CAE/CIRS codes and the calculation of turnover.

After submitting the declaration, the platform identifies the taxpayer's main tax obligations.
