IEFP: Employment services with videoconferencing services

27.04.2020

The Institute of Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP) reinforces, as of May, alternative channels to face-to-face service and promotes attendance of job candidates using the videoconference platform.

In order to facilitate access to information and services provided, the IEFP has invested in the diversification of its channels of access and service provision.

In continuity with the strategy of modernising employment services, the IEFP is implementing a new remote assistance service, through videoconferencing, which allows communication with its users to be made quickly and avoiding trips to the employment services.

With this initiative, the IEFP aims to improve the quality of the response to job seekers by developing the technical interventions necessary for their integration process, of which the collective sessions and individual interviews stand out.

This remote service will be provided to candidates with technological conditions to participate in interventions promoted through videoconference and will begin in May. In this way, the registered candidates will receive an e-mail requesting the answer to a questionnaire regarding the equipment they have to access these interventions.
