IMT informs drivers who need to renew their driver's license

As of today, the Institute of Mobility and Transport (IMT) will begin to inform drivers with expired or about to expire driving licenses that they must renew them. In the first phase, only drivers with a light vehicle category (B) will be notified.

The communication will be made by SMS, e-mail and postal service throughout the month of December. The information will be adapted to the validity of each driver's driving license.

The creation of this service is part of the SIMPLEX program and integrates an automated driver's license renewal system, which is being developed in a partnership between IMT, the Institute of Registration and Notary Affairs (IRN), and the Administrative Modernization Agency (AMA).
