Inauguration of the Abrantes Citizen Shop
On 27 March 2019, the Citizen’s Shop of Abrantes was officially inaugurated, in a ceremony attended by the Minister of the Presidency and Administrative Modernisation, Mariana Vieira da Silva, and the Deputy Secretary of State and Administrative Modernisation, Luís Goes Pinheiro.
Created with the purpose of offering citizens a greater offer of public services, this is the first shop in the municipality of Abrantes. It is located at Rua Nossa Senhora da Conceição, on the upper floor of the current D. Francisco de Almeida Family Health Unit building, and operates from Monday to Friday from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M.
It provides services from the Tax Authority and Social Security Institute, a Municipal Council Services Desk (excluding Urbanism services), a Municipal Services Desk and a Citizen Spot with assisted digital service, which brings together services from different State entities, such as, for example, the revalidation of driving licence, request of a criminal record, delivery of expense documents to ADSE, change of address of the Citizen Card or request of a European Health Insurance Card, among others.
