Measure Supporting Tourism with applications open until December 22

The Apoiar Program has been reinforced by 70 million euros, with the new measure Supporting Tourism aimed at financing the accommodation, restaurant and similar sector and other tourism activities.
This measure aims to increase support to companies in the tourism sector that received support from the Apoiar Program due to the consequences of the pandemic. These companies can now receive support to combat the effects of inflation, rising energy prices, and the context of conflict in Europe.
Beneficiaries are companies that meet the following criteria and conditions for access:
- develop main economic activity inserted in the list of CAE provided in Annex C to Ordinance No. 295-A/2022, of December 13
- have had an application approved under the Apoiar.pt, Apoiar Restauração or Apoiar +Simples measures
- Be in business
- have fulfilled all obligations regarding refunds, in the scope of financing from the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF)
- have fulfilled all obligations related to Social Security and Tax Administration
- not have been subject to insolvency proceedings under the terms of the Insolvency and Corporate Recovery Code.
Applications for support must be submitted by December 22, 2022, using the simplified electronic form available in the Simplified Access Platform (PAS).
