Fuels and biofuels - request information on tests by the Laboratório Nacional de Energia e Geologia (LNEG)

The National Energy and Geology Laboratory, IP (LNEG) carries out various tests on fuels and biofuels.

The tests can be carried out

  • using standardised methods
  • by test methods developed by LNEG
  • to fulfil the requesting party's specifications.

Time of issue/decision

The deadlines for completion depend on the tests to be carried out.

You can request a work proposal for each case.

How much

The cost varies according to the type of test. It is therefore always necessary to consult LNEG to find out the cost of each test.

Consultation and requests for information are free of charge.

LNEG carries out the tests after the client accepts the proposed conditions and the samples are received at the laboratory.
